Lauren Raine
For Dia de los Muertos in 2022 I wanted to remember the thousands of fellow Beings that are leaving us every day because of the 6th Extinction. They disappear silently, un-grieved and un-named. And as they go the intricate Balance of nature begins to fragment, endangering our human species as well. I wanted to honor recently extinct and endangered species by NAMING them, in much the same way as Litanies name the dead. Because WE are the 6th Extinction.
